Few casinos have benefited more from PA’s massive 2017 gambling expansion package than Valley Forge, the King of Prussia resort which now provides the licensing for FanDuel’s online offerings in the state. Not only did the law permit the Category 3 property to open up its casino to non-hotel guests, it also allowed the facility to expand to over 850 slot machines and 50 table games.
The resort scored another homerun when it inked a deal with gaming behemoth FanDuel to launch its popular online casino and sportsbook under the Valley Forge umbrella. Below we take a look at what FanDuel casino has to offer Keystone State gamblers, with links and an exclusive promo code for the site’s sign-up bonus included.
New customers to FanDuel online casino can play their first day risk-free for up to $1000. Simply make a deposit and start betting. If you lose during the 24-hour period following your first bet, you’ll be refunded with a 1X site credit up to a maximum of $1000. If you come out a winner, then great! However, in that case you won’t receive any bonus cash.

Once you place your first bet in the online casino on any game, the clock starts. Play as much or as little as you want, and any net losses up to $1000 will be credited back to your account as a casino site credit. Once you receive your credit, you can’t cash out immediately, instead you’ll need turn the bonus amount over 1x by wagering in the casino.
For example, if you play your favorite slot during the 24-hour period and your balance started at $1500, and ends at $500, FanDuel will refund your account the full $1000 in site credit. If you start with $500, and end with $450, FanDuel will refund your account $50 in site credit.
After receiving the refund, you would then need to wager the full amount of the refund in as large or small increments that you want. You could play one $50 hand of blackjack, or 250 spins of 20 cent Divine Fortune, or any other combination that you choose!
Registering for an account at FanDuel online casino is a breeze. You can register on the desktop site or the download the mobile app, but FanDuel Casino is currently only available to play on mobile. The steps below will walk you through how to register on the app:
Once you make your first deposit, you can find the casino via the Casino button on the bottom right hand side of the app’s homepage.
FanDuel does offer weekly promotions, but nothing that will really get players too excited about. These promos include:
On the sportsbook side, there is a lot more to be excited about, including perks like nightly Odds Boosts, Third-Quarter Insurance and a substantial and enticing welcome bonus.
FanDuel Casino PA is available on both iOS and Android powered devices via the company’s sportsbook app. When FanDuel Casino first launched, they were app only, but have since added a browser based casino that can be accessed on your desktop or laptop. Their mobile app is simple and easy to use and has all the same options as a desktop online casino including banking, slots, table games and live dealer.
FanDuel was one of the few PA online casinos to go live with an iOS mobile app on Day 1. It was also the first to offer both online casino and sportsbook inside the same mobile package. To find the casino, look for the casino button inside the sportsbook app at the bottom of the page, which will take you to all of the site’s casino options.
FanDuel boasts a comprehensive list of ways to get your money on and off the site, and from our experience, has some of the fastest withdrawals in the PA market. Here’s a rundown:
If you feel like you are getting in over your head, or just need a break, there are several options to restrict deposits by day, week or month. There is a deposit limit option on the deposit options page. There are also several other limits you can set such as max single wager and reality checks.
Game selection is the one major downside of playing at FanDuel casino (for now), but the games that are available are amongst the most popular in the U.S. market. The lack of games on offer on iOS is likely due to restrictions put in place by Apple on gambling apps, which force them to be coded natively in the iOS programming language. When the desktop site launches, we will see a much larger library of titles.
So far, FanDuel is offering a small selection of games by just two providers: NetEnt and IGT. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as NetEnt games are some of the most popular online, due to their unique and engaging graphics and high return to player percentages (RTP).
FanDuel’s most popular game is likely to be Divine Fortune, an extremely popular Progressive Jackpot slot that is known for its constantly rising Mega Jackpot, high returns and exciting bonus rounds. Other notable slots in the library include Blood Suckers, Gonzo’s Quest, Dead Or Alive, Cleopatra and Butterfly Stax. New games are added periodically, but the over game selection is still a bit lacking compared to the competition.
Just like the slot library, all of the current table games are provided by NetEnt and IGT, with NetEnt offering several roulette variations and a blackjack game, with IGT providing a single-hand blackjack title.
NetEnt Roulette Variations
Anyone who has been to a retail casino bar will recognize the iconic Game King suite of video poker. FanDuel now lets you bring the excitement from the casino home to your couch. The Game Kings offerings include:
Live dealer gaming is an exciting new popular way to bring all your favorite table games from the casino floor, direct to your living room. Real live dealers spinning real roulette wheels and dealing up real cards streamed live while all bets are made digitally from your computer or mobile device. Live dealer games include:
FanDuel Casino does not currently have a loyalty program in Pennsylvania but is testing one with select New Jersey customers, modeled on its daily fantasy sports program, the FanDuel Players Club.
FanDuel Players Club awards you points for each dollar bet on the site and has 11 tiers. Each tier you climb, the more perks you get including free play, bonus bets and freerolls. There is no timetable for when and if this program will come to Pennsylvania but be sure to check back about any new and information.
If you ever run into any problems or just have a question or concern, FanDuel has several options to answer any question you may have.

Valley Forge Resort Casino opened in 2012, after a protracted legal battle with Philadelphia’s Parx Casino. Valley Forge’s competitor attempted to block its licensure for nearly three years to keep it out of the market, until courts finally settled on the side of Valley Forge and allowed the casino to open.
Due to its status as a Category 3 resort casino, it was initially not permitted to allow non-hotel guests from gambling inside its casino, without paying a small fee. This restriction limited the property’s revenue potential. Included in the 2017 expanded gambling package, however, was a stipulation allowing for resort casinos to purchase a license to open up their floors for the price of $1 million. Valley Forge did so and almost immediately saw its revenues increase.
The new law also allowed the casino to expand its retail casino floor to 850 slots (previously 600) and 50 table games. Additionally, it has the option of adding live poker tables for poker tournaments, which it hasn’t chosen to do just yet, likely due to the fact that it is a smaller casino and will find it hard to keep poker games running.
In 2019, the property opened its physical sportsbook, also in conjunction with FanDuel, with former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek taking the honor of placing the first bet.
