Derek Hein has worked in government affairs since 2005. He currently lobbies state legislatures and attorneys general for Catalyst, a Kansas City based public affairs group, and has recently launched his own consulting firm, Upside Strategies, LLC. Derek previously worked as manager of government affairs for DraftKings and helped the daily fantasy sports industry navigate through their legislative and regulatory battles from 2015-2017.
